Our programme
The WIAB Member Programme
One programme that carries a woman through the full agribusiness cycle, from training and cooperative savings to market access and, in time, member loans.
What it is
A single, connected path, not scattered handouts.
Rather than one-off workshops, the programme moves each member through a connected cycle. You learn a skill, apply it on your farm or in your business, save alongside your chapter, and reach buyers as part of a collective, each stage reinforcing the next.
It is designed for the real conditions of women in the South-West: seasonal, practical, and rooted in cooperation rather than charity.
How it works
Four stages, one membership.
- 01
Learn
Seasonal training in farming, processing, and running a small agribusiness.
- 02
Save
Contribute to your chapter's cooperative savings, building shared security.
- 03
Sell together
Reach buyers as a collective, for a fairer price than any farm gets alone.
- 04
Access loans
After a year of membership and savings, become eligible to apply for a loan.
On loans
Who it is for
Built for women in agriculture across the South-West.
Farmers
Women growing crops on any scale who want stronger prices, shared knowledge, and a route to credit.
Processors
Women turning raw produce into higher-value goods: palm oil, garri, packaged foods, and more.
Traders
Women selling agricultural goods who benefit from the cooperative's collective reach and networks.
Join to take part in the programme.
Membership is how you enter the cycle. It starts with a two-minute application.
