Our story
Founded on the strength of women working together.
WIAB brings together women farmers, processors, and traders across six states of the South-West, on a simple conviction: alone, a small farm is fragile; together, it is powerful. Each state runs its own chapter, organised at state and local government level, under one cooperative structure.
We are farmers, processors, and traders. We pool our savings, share what we know, and reach markets none of us could reach on our own. Membership is a commitment to one another as much as to a livelihood.
As we launch, our promise is steady and clear: build something credible, build it to last, and put the member at the centre of every decision.

Common questions
Good to know before you join.
- Who can become a member?
- Any woman engaged in farming, processing, or agribusiness in one of our chapters. If your state is not listed yet, you can still register your interest.
- Is there a membership fee?
- Membership involves joining your chapter's cooperative savings. An officer will explain the current contribution when they contact you.
- Can I get a loan straight away?
- No. To keep every member's savings safe, loan eligibility requires at least one year of registration and a record of savings contributions.
- How do I get started?
- Complete the short application form and an officer from your chapter will reach out to guide you through the next steps.
